Designing canopy tours and zip lines that bring participants in contact with the trees has been our passion. Although we have experience building tours using pole structures, our most significant achievements have been made in developing tree friendly designs. Tree InstallationsEnsuring the longevity and health of the trees and surrounding forest is of great importance to us. Each design takes in to consideration the feel and look of the surrounding area to create structures that are well integrated. Considerable time is spent understanding the nuances of each tree to allow for growth, flex, and to make use of the trees' nature character. To protect your invest and to reduce long-term maintenance costs, our innovative platforms are designed to grow with the tree and make only 6 intrusions. Capable of supporting 12 guests, the platforms have an estimated life-span of 40 years with minor maintenance and upkeep. Throughout the design process, our goal is to preserve as much of the natural character of the land as possible. This includes reducing the amount of clearing and keeping the canopy pathway to a minimum. The experience is one of complete immersion, as opposed to tours that clear cut pathways beneath the course and staple ladders up each tree. Used to maintain elevation, provide scenic or wildlife viewing areas, or as a new challenge, bridges add character and diversity to a course. Our patent-pending Sky Bridge designs are engineered for easy pass through, even when installed high on the tree. This means no crawling over or ducking support cables and hand rails. Bridges, up to 300 feet in length are designed to move with the trees and so participants are always clipped in. Bridges can be designed as decked traverses for observation and viewing or constructed as challenge elements. View samples of our canopy tour sky bridges. Towers and Landing PlatformsWhere trees are unavailable or the terrain dictates other options, it is occasionally necessary to install towers or landing/take-off structures. A variety of options exist and designs can be easily tailored to meet the aesthetic and structural needs of your course. Towers may include roofs, staircases, course facilities, and in some cases provide launcing pads for other adventure elements, including rappelling or climbing. Your designer will work with you to select the appropriate materials and to create a structure that meets your needs.
