 Reid was raised at residential summer camps throughout the Midwest, and in Massachusetts and is well versed in the camp operations. He has a breadth of knowledge in outdoor education and has been facilitating on ropes challenge courses since 1997. Reid’s formal education was at Minnesota State University Moorhead where he received a Bachelors in Science in Exercise Science and a minor in Business Administration. Reid joined the Bonsai Design team in 2005 as part of the installation crew for the Alaska Canopy Adventure’s canopy tour in Ketchikan, Alaska. Reid stayed on with Alaska Canopy Adventures and was an integral part of their internal training program for canopy tour guides. Reid travels as a builder and rigger on the installation team and occasionally assists with guide training. Reid currently lives in Minnesota. When not working for Bonsai, he occasionally assists S.T.E.P.S. facilitating challenge course programs in Michigan.
